Adam Parfitt is a veteran member of the men's eights crew and enters his
second Olympic Games eager to gain a first major international medal. He
placed fourth with the crew at the last Games in Atlanta and has never
stepped on the podium in five world championship appearances. He was
member of the national junior team in 1991 and 1992 and was named Rowing
Canada's junior sculler of the year in 1991.
