Brad Snyder is Canada's outstanding shot putter and headed to a second
Games. At the University of South Carolina where he studies criminal
justice, he won the 1988 NCAA Outdoor and Indoor titles, a feat
accomplished only four times in the last 22 years and was the indoor
champion in 1999 as well. He was also sixth at the Goodwill Games in 1998
and was the Pan Am junior champion in 1995. His father Darryl is a police
officer.
