Fantasy Recap: Apr. 22

By CHRIS NICHOLS -- SLAM! Sports

Philadelphia 3 Toronto 1 (Philly leads series 1-0)

The Blackhawk Down line delivered a goal again... Jeremy Roenick's assist gives him points in each of the six playoff games (2G, 7A) the Flyers have played so far... Alex Zhamnov has duplicated Roenick's consecutive games (3G, 6A) feat... Tony Amonte's goal was his second marker and fourth point thus far... Simon Gagne's goal was his first since the opener against New Jersey... Surprisingly, Mark Recchi has but one point in the playoffs so far (He had 91 points in 92 playoff games entering this year and had a strong regular season)... Alex Mogilny scored his first goal of the playoffs, but it went in off a Philly defenseman...Robert Esche has been strong in the post-season and seems to have put his bad regular season finish behind him... Ed Belfour certainly didn't look as dominant in this game as he did against Ottawa... Brian Leetch continues to produce offense, registering his fifth assist... Bryan McCabe is also a productive blueliner for Toronto, adding his fifth point (3G, 2A) so far... No matter which team advances from this series, I'll be guaranteed to get one of my Eastern Conference Finals picks correct (Toronto, Philly, Detroit and Colorado were my final four, with Calgary as my Cinderella team).

Calgary 2 Detroit 1 OT (Calgary leads series 1-0)

Marcus Nilson's game-winner was his first goal and second point of the post-season, but he's demonstrated several times since the late-season trade that he can score... Martin Gelinas was strong on the puck to set up Nilson's goal, giving Gelinas his fourth point of the playoffs already... Miikka Kiprusoff lived up to his game-stealer reputation by making 13 first period saves... Jarome Iginla was held without a point for the third time in eight games... Robyn Regehr's goal gives him five points in the playoffs... Matt Lombardi also has five points... Robert Lang scored his third goal and seventh point of the playoffs in this game and he's going to be such a solid choice in any pool next year... Shanny drew his third assist and fourth point of the post-season... Curtis Joseph took his first loss since taking over from Manny Legace in Game Four and in just over ten periods of hockey has only allowed three goals - two of them coming Thursday night.

San Jose 5 Colorado 2 (San Jose leads series 1-0)

Patrick Marleau scored his second hat trick of the playoffs already...This was the second multiple-point game for Vinnie Damphousse (1G, 1A) and he now has six points total... After a 39-point regular season, Brad Stuart notched his third point of the playoffs Thursday... Niko Dimitrakos had three assists, giving him five points... Jonathan Cheechoo's sweet set up gives him four points... Joe Sakic had a pair of assists and that gives him eight points in six playoff starts... Peter Forsberg's goal gives him points in every game of the playoffs and his consecutive games streak actually dates back to last season... Marek Svatos saw some shifts with Forsberg and Hejduk again with Alex Tanguay still out of the lineup... Steve Konowalchuk already has scored four times in the playoffs... Adam Foote notched his fourth assist Thursday night.
