Fantasy Recap: Apr. 28

By CHRIS NICHOLS -- SLAM! Sports

Toronto 4 Philadelphia 1 (Philadelphia leads series 2-1)

Wade Belak's return to the lineup was key in the win, but he registered his impact with body checks and not points... Alex Mogilny scored his second goal of the series already after being blanked against Ottawa... Bryan McCabe had a pair of assists, giving him three points in the series and seven overall... Brian Leetch has a single assist in five games straight... Mats Sundin has five points in the six games he's played... Darcy Tucker's goal was his first point of the playoffs... Tie Domi's assist gives him four points in six games and he continues to be one of the better Toronto forwards each night... Veteran Ron Francis got his first point in seven games... This was the first time in the entire playoffs that Toronto held the opposition to 20 shots or less in a game... In the only two games Robert Esche has lost, he has surrendered four goals - he's only given up seven goals in the other six games... Tony Amonte has a four-game point streak going and six points total... Alex Zhamnov has 11 points overall and has a point in every single game of the playoffs... This was the first game in the post-season where Philly did not score first.

Colorado 1 San Jose 0 OT (San Jose leads series 3-1)

Joe Sakic scored the only goal of the game in OT and the goal came AFTER a four-minute PP the Avs failed to score on that carried into overtime. Sakic's goal was his 9th point in 9GP and he now has a staggering total of 166 points in 151 career playoff games... Bob Boughner drew the assist on the goal, his fourth assist of the playoffs but first point against San Jose... David Aebischer collected his first ever playoff shutout and only allowed one single goal in the two games in Colorado in this series... Evgeni Nabokov got some help from the post several times, but was brilliant as he has been throughout the playoffs and was a bounce away from recording back-to-back shutouts at the Pepsi Center... San Jose had its five-game winning streak stopped with this loss... Alex Tanguay has neither a point nor a single shot in this series... Peter Forsberg had a point in the first seven games of the post-season, but has failed to connect twice in a row now.

In addition to analyzing fantasy hockey for us, Chris also writes a weekly column for ESPN's fantasy hockey section during the regular season and periodically during the rest of the year. He can also be found at Mckeenshockey.com, where his News & Notes section is featured seven days a week through the end of the playoffs.
