Yves Bilodeau came out of retirement this season and made his third Olympic team. A 13-year national team veteran he also competed at the 1998 and 1992 Games in Calgary and Albertville as well as five world championships. The 36-year-old Quebec City native isn't close to being the oldest ever cross country Olympian. At the 1994 Lillehammer Games, Italy's Maurillio De Zolt captured a gold at age 42 as part of the winning relay team. Bilodeau also works part-time as a head wax technician for the Canadian team and will serve a dual role in Nagano. He currently lives in France. |
