Olympics caught Ryan's fancy

Ryan Johnson didn't realize his dream of standing on the podium with a medal around his
neck, but the 23-year-old Calgary mogul skier brought home some warm and wonderful feelings
about the Olympics.
"I had no idea what to expect," said Johnson, who was greeted at the Calgary
International Airport by a host of sign-carrying relatives yesterday.

Moseley performs on streets of NY
NEW YORK (AP) -- Olympic gold medalist Jonny Moseley brought his acrobatic skiing
style to the New York City streets Friday.
Moseley, the free-spirited Californian who won the freestyle moguls in Nagano,
Japan, last week, performed two daring jumps off a giant ramp in the theater district for a
segment on "Late Show with David Letterman."

Canadian air farce

They came here as the kings of the mountain, but Canada's aerial freestylers were
paupers when it came time to climb the podium.
Returning to the scene of their dominating performance at last year's world
championships, the Canadians were shut out in their hunt for medals in the finals of the freestyle
