    Use video, FIFA boss pleads

By KEN FIDLIN -- Toronto Sun
PARIS -- Just a day after FIFA boss Sepp Blatter tore a strip off his organization's disciplinary committee, that same committee has a hot potato on its hands.
Blatter is angry that the disciplinary committee won't use videotape replays to help them when making rulings on players.
Now, France's Laurent Blanc has been red-carded for a bogus foul against Croatia's Slaven Bilic, a foul that undoubtedly would be reversed if the committee decided to use video replays when making its ruling on a possible suspension for the World Cup final.
Spanish referee Jose Garcia-Aranda thought Blanc had punched Bilic in the face but in fact Blanc had pushed Bilic in the chest, hardly a hanging offence. If the committee chooses to use a replay, Blanc should be allowed to play in the final against Brazil on Sunday.
"There is a precedent for them using replays but they have refused to use them in France," said Blatter, indicating he would have more to say after the tournament.
