Tuesday, April 7, 1998Spanish goalkeeper may retire after World CupMADRID (AP) -- Veteran Spanish keeper Andoni Zubizarreta is considering retiring after this year's World Cup, according to a published report.El Mundo said Zubizarreta, who at 36 has played a record 123 games for the Spanish international team, has already notified his club Valencia that he will not be renewing his contract for next season. The newspaper added that the player was also considering finishing his days with some English club, although it gave no further details. A Valencia spokesman said the club had no comment on the report.
